Random Things That Piss Me Off

We have a BIG picture that hangs above our bed (it’s about two-and-a-half feet square) and I dusted it today…

This is what I find:

UNDER THE GLASS!

I guess I’ll wait and see if it makes it’s way out or if it dies under the glass, in which case I have to take the ginormous frame apart to get the carcass out! Cuz I need one more thing to do!

You know, if it was a dark mat (anything but cream), I’d leave it there.

UPDATE: The spider is now all curled up and appears to be dead.  I’m disappointed it didn’t get out, especially since now I have to get it out myself.  *sigh*

Happy Canada Day!

Mea wants to wish everyone a happy Canada Day holiday!

Be careful, you may just die from the cuteness…

Giggs is not so patriotic.

He was scared of the flag.

Meanwhile, little Mea marched around with her flag for a good fifteen minutes! I did have to take it away so she didn’t eat it. She has a little to learn about flag etiquette but she sure likes to carry it around :)

Wish us luck! Little Mea has to go to the vet today for some shots. I’ll update on how it goes a little later.

UPDATE!

Little Mea is healthy as can be.  She had two more shots, which she did NOT like AT ALL!  She sure squawked!  Other than that, no news really.  She was 4.5 lbs (-ish) when we got her three weeks ago and now she’s weighing in at 6.5 lbs.  She’s growing so fast!  We have to go back in one month for one last booster.

I did notice last night that she has a bump (scab, mole?) behind her left ear along the jaw line/neck area.  I have to get Tony to help me pin her down to get a closer look, it’s under all that fur…  Might have to go back to the vet though…  Hopefully it’s nothing.

Sibling Politics

K.  I’m sitting here at the computer playing a little Web Sudoku and the pugs are having bedtime chewies because that is what Giggs likes to do before bed.  There are three bully sticks on the floor around my chair right now and they both want the SAME ONE!

If Giggs has it, Mea barks at him.  If Mea has it, Giggs pouts.  Giggs will chew on a different stick but only if I let him chew it on my lap.  Mea sees Giggs in my lap and then whines and paws to also come up.  I pick Mea up and put her in my lap with Giggs and this is unacceptable to Giggs so he jumps down (if he can’t have mama to himself, he doesn’t want her at all).  When he jumps down he finds THE stick that they both covet and proceeds chewing happily on that one.

Well, Mea notices Giggs with THE stick and so she wants down because whatever Giggs has she MUST take.  So now she’s back to barking at Giggs…
